satori - flashes of insight |
Hi my name is Renée and I make video and film.
I'm inspired by satori - the little, fleeting moments of revelation in life, when you suddenly feel everything is OK. That there is something bigger.
SATORI is based in Copenhagen and wherever adventures take us.

We are on the home stretch for EVERYTHING wrapping up sound and grading - I can’t believe it! Premiere in Copenhagen in June. Click through to the website and sign up to see the film if you’re interested and I’ll send you an invite to the premiere.
You know what they say - if you like the movie, buy the T-shirt :)
Today is the launch of the SATORI shop. Visit the ‘shop’ page or click through this image to visit. We’ve got iPhone/itouch covers, flip video cams, water flasks and other cool stuff, as well as Tshirts!
Kori Pop has kindly given us permission for us to use this great track for EVERYTHING. It’s so catchy, whenever I’ve been in the edit suite, I’m always humming it for the rest of the day. Kori Pop made the video for the track herself, so she’s definitely a lady of many talents. You can check her out at www.koripop.com.
Yay, Debt Collector is over 400 views on You Tube. Not earth shattering by You Tube standards I know, but enough to fill a few conventional cinema sessions so I’m happy.
Not that I’ve properly mastered You Tube as yet. I just figured out you can actually order the first 10 videos on your channel. Amazing.
And had some great meetings today with some of my professional partners, Camilla and Alex, so watch out world, here we come.
EVERYTHING is sitting with a wonderful editor, Dan Login at the moment. I’m very lucky as he’s a busy man, so its great he’s having a look at it for us.
This means I’ve taken an EVERYTHING break and had some space to work on new projects and stuff like figuring out how I order my you tube videos for example!
I went to a course on Facebook at the Danish Film School this week, so slowly but surely, I’m catching up with all the young’ns and fandangle technology. Satori does actually have a facebook page - search for SATORI and LIKE it so I can get a more manageble facebook URL. As you’ll notice right now, its a bit of a mouthful.
And have you noticed my twitter button? I promise if you follow me that I’m much more interesting when limited to short twitter updates. It’s the perfect forum to practice my smart ass one liners.
My amazing script consultant, Lone Scherfig’s new film opens this week in the US. Check out this article from the San Francisco Chronicle.
